Frasers Group are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for Digital Data Squad to join our growing IT function and work as part of an enthusiastic, motivated, and delivery focused agile team. Frasers Group are a global powerhouse within retail, made up of household names such as Sports Direct and USC. IT at Frasers Group is delivered by the in-house team who are passionate about what they do and are not dependent on outsourced organisations to deliver the core systems. This role is hybrid with 3 days and the office and 2 days at home
Key Responsibilities
- Working on all aspects of our state of the art, inhouse developed, ecommerce platform. Our platform runs over 50 websites - including some of the biggest names in Retail
- Providing innovative, fast, and reliable websites by building robust interconnected data applications and services that serves large quantities of data
- Developing on the backend, mostly with data related systems with a range of exciting technologies
- Managing the full software development lifecycle, ensuring appreciation of quality assurance, continuous integration/delivery, and the benefits of automation
- Designing, developing, and testing, fast, scalable, and architecturally robust solutions
- Staying up to date with the latest technology and industry trends, continuously looking for ways to apply them for our benefit
