What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Integrations and Platform team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will design scalable systems that power complex integrations, helping us eliminate manual operational work while building the backbone of our platform. You will be working remotely from anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and maintaining sophisticated, event-driven backend systems using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Building robust integrations with third-party APIs, focusing on reliability, async workflows, and error handling.
• Implementing comprehensive observability and automation to reduce manual intervention and improve system performance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in distributed systems and SaaS environments. You should have a deep understanding of AWS services like Lambda, EventBridge, and SQS. Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases is essential for managing production data and state. We value candidates who are proactive, possess strong debugging skills, and can communicate effectively in English. While we do not have specific degree requirements, we look for individuals who are continuous learners, possess grit, and have a track record of solving complex technical challenges with high levels of ownership.

What we offer
