Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Ingestion team. This is a contractor position, initially set for six months with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role. You will be working in a remote capacity from anywhere, focusing on the design and maintenance of the systems that power our data ingestion capabilities.
Your impact
- You will develop and launch new product features that help security teams across the globe protect their organizations.
- You will dive deep into our codebase to implement bug fixes, conduct code reviews, and share feedback to ensure high-quality output.
- You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build robust, scalable solutions.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Proven expertise in writing production-level code using Golang.
- Strong experience building cloud-native applications, specifically within AWS.
- A history of working on highly scalable systems and frameworks.
- The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a remote, distributed team.
- Experience working alongside frontend engineers and product teams to deliver customer-facing features.
- Fluency in English.
