We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. At Asset Reality, we build specialized software that assists governments and law enforcement agencies in managing the proceeds of crime. As a Series A funded startup, we offer a stable environment where you can help shape our strategic direction while tackling complex technical challenges. This role is based in London, and we operate on a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in our Central London office for a minimum of three days each week.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the backend systems that power our core platform.
- Take an active role in engineering discussions, helping to drive our technical design and architectural decisions.
- Embrace a high level of ownership in our startup environment by solving difficult problems and staying current with emerging technologies to foster innovation.
Requirements
- A strong background in Go, with experience working in teams that emphasize reliability and high-quality code.
- Proven experience implementing automated testing to ensure system stability.
- A genuine passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps practices is considered a significant advantage.
- An interest in or prior experience with blockchain technology is highly valued.
