As we continue to grow following our Series B funding, we are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fully remote team and help us simplify complex financial transactions.

Key outcomes

• Develop and ship high-quality backend code for our core product features.
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams to ensure a seamless, first-class user experience.
• Take ownership of high-impact features from the initial concept phase through to final launch.
• Solve a diverse range of technical challenges across our stack while contributing to the codebase on a daily basis.
• Participate in sprint demos to showcase your team's contributions to the entire organization.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in SaaS environments using Python and Django.
• Deep understanding of backend MVC frameworks and modern web technology stacks.
• Strong proficiency in database management and architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A resourceful and agile mindset, with the ability to maintain a positive outlook when solving complex problems.
• A high level of empathy for both your colleagues and our end users.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working within the Fintech industry.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize database performance.
