About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a mission-critical member of our growing organization, helping to build the technological foundation that integrates fragmented healthcare services into a seamless experience. You will collaborate closely with our product, sales, and clinical teams to define our architecture, ensuring we maintain a balance between rapid development and long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish our core technology foundation by architecting robust microservices and DevOps practices that support both current agility and future growth.
- Design and implement high-quality APIs and core services while taking full ownership of specific features or functional areas.
- Ensure the ongoing quality of the products you build by monitoring performance and addressing any issues that arise after release.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, we look for the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of professional programming experience using Go, Java, C/C++, Ruby, C#, or Scala.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in commercial product development.
- A mission-driven mindset with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and confidently.
- Strong executive presence to effectively communicate our team's vision and technical plans.
- A self-starting attitude and the desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
