About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for a full-time position. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the foundational elements of our platform. You will work on end-to-end feature development, ensuring that our banking products remain innovative, scalable, and highly reliable for the business owners who depend on us every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software features while ensuring our infrastructure remains secure, extensible, and performant under heavy load.
- Collaborate closely within a multi-functional Agile team to translate business goals into technical requirements and drive key architectural decisions.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on planning, development, and testing while championing engineering best practices across the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a highly technical role within a fast-paced or hyper-growth company.
- A deep understanding of system design and a proven track record of architecting scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Proficiency in our core technology stack, which includes Node.js, Go, React, GraphQL, and Docker.
- Strong communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A demonstrated ability to mentor others and a proactive interest in evaluating new technologies to keep our stack modern.
Location
This is an on-site position requiring you to work from one of our offices in India, the United States, or Colombia at least 3 days per week.
