Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Berlin, Germany. This is a senior-level position where you will collaborate with designers and data scientists to build and scale the infrastructure that powers our core products.

Your impact

Lead the design of robust software architecture that aligns with our strategic business goals.
Develop and maintain high-performance microservices using Go to ensure our platform remains scalable and efficient.
Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering and database schema design to successful production deployment.

What you'll need

A degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, backed by at least 7 years of professional backend development experience.
Deep technical proficiency in Go, gRPC, Kafka, and Redis, along with extensive experience managing both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Proven track record of working within Agile Scrum environments and utilizing major Cloud platforms.
Strong communication skills and a structured approach to solving complex technical challenges.
Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.
