Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Berlin, Germany. This is a senior-level position where you will collaborate with designers and data scientists to build and scale the infrastructure that powers our core products.
Your impact
- Lead the design of robust software architecture that aligns with our strategic business goals.
- Develop and maintain high-performance microservices using Go to ensure our platform remains scalable and efficient.
- Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering and database schema design to successful production deployment.
What you'll need
- A degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, backed by at least 7 years of professional backend development experience.
- Deep technical proficiency in Go, gRPC, Kafka, and Redis, along with extensive experience managing both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proven track record of working within Agile Scrum environments and utilizing major Cloud platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a structured approach to solving complex technical challenges.
- Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.
