About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this position, you will play a vital role in designing innovative security products that address critical gaps in the Internet of Things. By leveraging our unique blockchain-based technology, you will help us build robust, reliable architectures that keep adversaries at bay. This is an early-stage opportunity where you will work closely with our founders and leadership team to shape the future of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of specific project initiatives while ensuring the high quality of all technical deliverables.
- Design, develop, and maintain deployment processes and tools that support our solutions across IT, OT, and Cloud environments.
- Monitor system health and reliability while continuously improving our infrastructure to support highly scalable and distributed autonomous systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience involving WebSockets, packet tracing, and multi-tier client/server communication.
- Strong practical knowledge of JavaScript execution within modern web browsers, as well as authentication and authorization standards like JWT, SAML, and SSO.
- Solid understanding of multi-threading, socket programming, and low-latency, high-performance programming.
- Experience with secure coding practices in C++, Go, or Java, along with a background in threat analysis and vulnerability assessment.
- Hands-on expertise with application protocols such as SSH, RDP, VNC, and HTTP, alongside core concepts like TLS, PKI, and cryptography.
- Expert-level skills in Linux environments, including Ubuntu, Alpine, or Red Hat, as well as proficiency with Docker and microservice architectures.
- Excellent communication skills and a deep focus on debugging and troubleshooting complex systems.
