What you bring
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work in a full-time, remote capacity from anywhere in the world. You will join a small, agile team where you will have significant autonomy and the ability to influence our technical direction. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing cutting-edge features for our platform.
- Integrating third-party solutions and working with modern APIs.
- Handling complex data processing and query optimization while resolving production incidents.
Requirements
We are looking for a self-motivated professional with at least four years of industry experience. You should have a strong command of Node.js and TypeScript, along with proven expertise in databases like Postgres, OpenSearch, and Redis. A deep understanding of micro-services architecture and Azure cloud environments is essential. We value candidates who are passionate about code quality, performance, and testing. You should be comfortable working in Linux environments, specifically Ubuntu, and possess the communication skills necessary to thrive both as an independent contributor and a team player. Proficiency in English is required.
