What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Supply Chain team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Germany and operates under a hybrid work model. You will play a vital role in maintaining our high-performance systems while collaborating with a diverse team of engineers.

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Implement event-driven architecture by leveraging Kafka for reliable communication across our platforms.
• Develop and integrate GraphQL and REST APIs to ensure seamless connectivity between our internal and external systems.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least three years of professional experience building web applications with TypeScript and Node.js. We value candidates who possess a deep understanding of software design patterns and have practical experience with PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment using Git for version control and Jira for project management. We expect you to be proficient in writing robust code, utilizing testing frameworks like Jest to maintain high quality. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.
