The role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fully remote, product-focused team. This is a full-time position open to candidates located anywhere in the world. We are looking for a seasoned engineer with at least five years of experience who is comfortable navigating complex codebases and taking ownership of end-to-end features that directly impact our users.

Core responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend features that help our customers grow their subscription businesses.
• Collaborate across the full stack, moving between backend services and frontend components to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from architectural planning and code reviews to incident response and production support.

Skills and experience

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Deep experience writing and debugging SQL.
• Practical knowledge of frontend development and SPA applications.
• Excellent command of at least one mainstream programming language.
• Experience with Python, React, and PostgreSQL is highly valued.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to communicate effectively within a distributed, remote team.

Compensation and benefits
