We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a chance to have a genuine impact on our product trajectory and the future of our company. You will take ownership of features from the initial design phase all the way through to deployment, tackling complex technical challenges while collaborating across our entire organization. A day in the life

• You will build and maintain enterprise-grade backend services designed to handle our significant scale and diverse financial use cases.
• You will own the full lifecycle of features, including design, implementation, rigorous testing, and final deployment.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in areas like banking, payments, cards, and lending.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who brings at least 5 years of backend development experience, specifically within a microservices environment. You should be comfortable with the following:

• Strong hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, testable systems in the cloud.
• A solid grasp of critical production concepts like high availability and system reliability.
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

While not required, we would love to see experience with Kubernetes, Scala, functional programming, or patterns like DDD, EventSourcing, and CQRS.
