What you bring

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a vital role in our full-time, remote team. You will be responsible for building the backbone of our platform, ensuring that our data flows seamlessly across systems. Your work will be central to our mission, utilizing your expertise in API integration, database management, and serverless architecture to deliver high-performance solutions. You can work from anywhere, provided you are ready to tackle these core responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain scalable backend systems that integrate complex APIs and database layers.
• Collaborate with our data and frontend teams to ensure our systems function as a cohesive, high-speed unit.
• Build and manage serverless infrastructure on AWS to support our growing technical requirements.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong technical foundation and a collaborative spirit. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and bring at least five years of professional backend development experience. Your technical toolkit should include proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js, alongside deep experience with AWS services and Snowflake. We value candidates who are comfortable with Docker and modern pipelines for automated deployment. Beyond your technical skills, you should be an excellent communicator who can explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, and thrive within an Agile development environment. Fluency in English is required for this role.
