We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fully remote engineering team and report directly to our Director of Engineering.

Key outcomes

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product and revenue management to define and execute quarterly objectives.
• Lead large-scale projects autonomously, ensuring consistent communication and iterative progress.
• Propose and evaluate architectural solutions, carefully balancing trade-offs between speed, quality, security, and maintainability.
• Maintain and support our existing product codebase.
• Advance our engineering standards by championing practices such as code reviews, pair programming, containerization, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience developing services within a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Deep technical expertise in Python, Django, and Postgres.
• Proven experience working with PySpark in big-data environments.
• Current residency in South America or Latin America.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Practical experience managing data processing pipelines using tools such as Airflow and Deltalake.
• Familiarity with pandas and other common data science or big-data libraries within the Python ecosystem.
