Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere, provided you meet U.S. government export regulation requirements. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the systems that power our automated supply chain and warehouse logistics platform.

Your impact

• Design and implement flexible internal workflow architectures that address a wide range of customer use cases.
• Develop and own new product features by leveraging modern frameworks and high-quality tooling.
• Lead projects from initial stakeholder requirements through to final delivery, ensuring a significant positive impact on our product and user experience.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with a strong technical foundation and a collaborative spirit. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience building and scaling platforms, specifically using Python, Django, and Postgres.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs, with bonus points for GraphQL expertise.
• Familiarity with real-time architecture, including web hook frameworks and Server Sent Events.
• A track record of leading projects through all stages, including requirement gathering, planning, execution, and QA.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, self-directed environment.
