Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. You will be instrumental in building the systems that drive our platform, requiring a high level of expertise in backend development and serverless architecture.

Your impact

• You will design, build, and maintain efficient backend systems, with a primary focus on complex API integration and robust database management.
• You will spearhead the development of serverless architectures on AWS, utilizing tools like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and RDS to ensure high performance.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, while also providing mentorship to junior developers to elevate our collective engineering standards.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Python.
• Deep technical proficiency in AWS services and serverless design patterns.
• Hands-on experience working with Snowflake or similar modern database technologies.
• Strong communication skills in English, allowing you to bridge the gap between technical implementation and business goals.
• A proactive mindset toward problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality code through automated testing and CI/CD practices.
