What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Core and Integrations team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the Netherlands. You will play a vital role in optimizing our operational efficiency by streamlining integrations and building scalable product features that support our sales, finance, and marketing departments. We are seeking an experienced engineer who is ready to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain high-quality features using the Go programming language.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to design solutions that are observable, reusable, and highly scalable.
• Draft technical specifications for your projects and provide mentorship to team members to ensure our software meets rigorous technical standards.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have over 5 years of experience in software development, with a specific focus on distributed systems and backend engineering. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• More than 2 years of professional experience working with Go.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, Docker, and Kubernetes is considered a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture.
• A proactive mindset, a passion for learning new technologies, and a desire to solve complex distributed problems.
• Fluency in English.
