About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our AI team, specifically within the Search and Recommendations domain. This is a full-time, remote position. In this role, you will build sophisticated systems that connect companies with the right talent. You will help elevate our AI strategies and contribute to products that directly impact our users, working alongside some of the most talented engineers in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain scalable search systems and AI-driven services that support state-of-the-art retrieval capabilities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to design high-performance APIs that ensure low-latency and reliable ranking processes.
Perform rigorous code reviews and document services to promote transparency and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Extensive experience working with large-scale, production-grade systems and indexing technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Apache Solr.
Strong proficiency in Java programming, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, robust code supported by unit tests.
A solid understanding of API Design principles and CI/CD workflows.
Practical exposure to machine learning concepts and the infrastructure required to support ML models.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, globally distributed team.

Location

This position is remote and available to candidates located within the United States.

Compensation and Benefits
