Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize robust API services with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure backend solutions integrate seamlessly across our platform.
- Maintain high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Proactively diagnose and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
- Stay current with emerging industry trends and backend technologies.
- Provide technical insights to stakeholders to ensure the feasibility and timely delivery of project goals.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with additional experience in Java.
- Hands-on expertise with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Practical experience with Agentic Coding practices and utilizing AI agents for feature delivery.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and general backend best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
- Background in building IAM (Identity and Access Management) solutions.
