Senior Backend Engineer - Authentication at Pindrop

What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to focus on our authentication systems. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining the services that protect our users.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance APIs and services that scale effectively.
• Build robust applications using Golang and Python within a modern, cloud-focused environment.
• Manage and maintain services using cloud-native products from AWS and GCP, including DynamoDB, S3, and Kinesis.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a collaborative engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and finding efficient solutions. You have a proven track record of delivering stable, secure code in production environments and can work with minimal supervision. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Golang and Python, along with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Strong experience with AWS and GCP, including designing highly scalable cloud-based APIs.
• At least 2 years of experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and managing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
