Role at a glance

This is a full-time position based in Canada. As a senior member of our engineering organization, you will work in a hybrid capacity to help shape our core backend services, event-driven architecture, and APIs. You will be part of a rapidly growing international startup that values technical excellence and collaborative problem solving.

Your impact

• Design and implement highly scalable, performant, and event-driven microservices that serve as the backbone of our product.
• Provide expert code reviews and technical guidance to ensure our team maintains the highest standards of software quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define our technical roadmap, plan project efforts, and architect stable solutions for complex production environments.

What you'll need

• Extensive experience leading software engineering teams and setting the technical direction for large-scale projects.
• Deep expertise in building, supporting, and debugging distributed systems and complex event-driven architectures.
• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose production issues and optimize system performance.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a proven ability to mentor team members while fostering a culture of ownership.
