What you bring

As a Senior Backend Developer working on-site in Finland, you will be a key player in the evolution of our flagship GuitarTuna product. This is a full-time role where you will take ownership of critical systems and drive technical excellence to support our massive user base. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing robust, scalable features that enhance our backend architecture.
• Setting high standards for code quality by advocating for best practices and performing thorough code reviews.
• Taking the lead on complex troubleshooting and performance optimization to ensure a seamless experience for our users.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in backend engineering and a deep understanding of modern development cycles. We are looking for someone with advanced proficiency in Python and experience using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI. You should be comfortable building REST APIs and working with both SQL and MongoDB databases. A solid grasp of cloud infrastructure and a commitment to unit testing and TDD are essential. Beyond your technical skills, you should be a collaborative communicator who thrives in an agile, cross-functional environment. While not required, experience with app store monetization or Unity is a great bonus.
