AppFollow is a leading platform for app review management and ASO, dedicated to simplifying the daily workflows of product managers, developers, and marketing teams worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our fully remote team and help us scale our infrastructure while refining the ETL processes that drive our product's success.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize systems for collecting data from diverse sources.
- Build and maintain the infrastructure required to manage source connections and facilitate review responses.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our automated review response system.
- Write clean, secure, and scalable code while maintaining thorough documentation.
- Collaborate on system architecture improvements alongside our engineering team.
- Work with legacy services to ensure stability and performance.
- Partner with the Platform team to manage deployments and maintain high operational standards.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with asyncio in Python.
- Strong proficiency in FastAPI for building API endpoints.
- Expertise in SQL, specifically MySQL, with additional experience in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Practical knowledge of message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Experience writing unit tests using Pytest.
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English.

- Fluency in Russian.
