At TrustYou, we are on a mission to make guests happy by leveraging hospitality AI across our Customer Experience, Customer Data, and Agent platforms. We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer and Connectivity Lead to join our remote-first, international team and help us build scalable systems that integrate diverse hotel management data.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust platforms to integrate hotel Property Management Systems using REST, SOAP, and proprietary APIs.
- Design efficient, event-driven, and batch-based data workflows to handle large-scale information securely.
- Build reusable connectors and collaborate with partners to ensure seamless data integration.
- Utilize Python and Node.js to implement scalable backend services.
- Manage containerization with Docker and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Provide technical leadership to the Connectivity Team by mentoring junior developers and driving architectural decisions.
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Must-haves
- At least 10 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years specifically in a senior backend role.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Node.js with TypeScript.
- Extensive experience working with REST, SOAP, and complex proprietary APIs.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative, analytical mindset with a passion for high-quality engineering.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in the German language.
- Experience working with advertising APIs such as Google Ads or Meta Ads.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and advanced observability practices.
