We are looking for a Senior Back End Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Mosey, we simplify the complexities of employment compliance, allowing fast-growing companies to hire and operate anywhere without the heavy administrative burden. Managing HR, tax, and legal requirements across various jurisdictions is a significant challenge, and we are building the automation and tools to make that process seamless.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust automation tools that assist our users in managing their employment compliance obligations.
- Design and implement new features from the ground up while building out necessary API endpoints for our applications and partners.
- Collaborate directly with our founding team to create prototypes and establish the foundational infrastructure and continuous integration workflows for our platform.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Deep technical expertise using Python, Postgres, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, and Mypy.
- A strong background in startup environments or a proven track record of leading new projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a critical mindset for solving novel technical problems.
- A drive to build systems from the ground up with a focus on high quality and urgency.
What we offer
The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $195,000, supplemented by equity compensation. We are committed to supporting our team with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
