What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Automation & Robotics Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will bridge the gap between process development and production operations to scale our manufacturing systems. You will be a key player in our engineering department, utilizing your expertise in biotechnology, mechanical engineering, and robotics to advance our production capabilities.
- Oversee the design, installation, and startup of critical manufacturing systems, including autonomous mobile robots and automated storage and retrieval systems.
- Research and implement new automation technologies to improve manufacturing reliability and throughput.
- Provide technical direction and oversight to vendors and engineering firms throughout all project phases.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in high-volume manufacturing environments, such as automotive or consumer products. You should hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and bring at least five years of professional experience. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in process design, machine safety, and automation controls, specifically with Allen Bradley PLCs and various robotic platforms. Proficiency in project management, including budgeting and scheduling, is essential. You must be fluent in English and ready to tackle complex technical challenges with a focus on reliability engineering.
