About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a key member of our Plant Engineering department, a group of approximately 45 dedicated professionals including engineers, project managers, and compliance specialists. You will focus on the operation, maintenance, and modification of our automation systems, ensuring that our utility systems and facility monitoring systems function at peak performance to support our growing manufacturing footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and compliance of our automation systems, including SCADA process control and facility monitoring systems for critical environments.
- Manage clear and effective communication between external engineering partners and our internal stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Guarantee that all installations and operational tasks are performed safely, effectively, and in strict accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A relevant engineering degree.
- At least 5 years of experience within the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically working under GMP conditions.
- Proven ability to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on complex automation systems.
- Experience in drafting standard operating procedures.
- Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical facilities and the qualification processes required for manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in Danish considered an advantage.
- The flexibility and resilience to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Location
This position is based on-site in Denmark.
