Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code to ensure high-performance web applications.
• Integrate and manage robust database solutions to support dynamic application features.
• Implement strong security protocols to protect our platforms from vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to integrate user-facing components seamlessly.
• Perform detailed code reviews to maintain high quality and mentor team members.
• Manage project timelines to ensure we meet our delivery goals.
• Optimize our applications for mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Provide technical support by troubleshooting and resolving user-reported issues.
• Document workflows, code, and best practices to support long-term development.
• Stay current with emerging trends in PHP and web technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Must-haves

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with PHP and its frameworks, such as Laravel, Lumen, or Symfony.
• Proficiency in full stack development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and time management skills.
• A strong grasp of web security best practices and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Node.js.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.
• Prior experience working within Agile development methodologies.
