Senior Art Director at DDB Athens

We are currently searching for a talented and personable Senior Art Director to join our team in Greece on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will guide our visual style and oversee the creative team, ensuring that every project we deliver maintains a high standard of quality, consistency, and innovation. You will work closely with our Creative and Account Directors to turn strategic communication goals into compelling visual realities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative ideation process and define the visual direction for major advertising campaigns.
• Mentor, inspire, and develop members of the creative team, including designers and copywriters, to foster a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate with planning and client service teams to translate complex strategic briefs into high-impact visual solutions that resonate with audiences.

Requirements

• A degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a creative role, ideally within an advertising or design agency.
• Proven expertise in leading teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering work on time.
• Strong storytelling abilities and the confidence to present creative concepts effectively to clients.
• Familiarity with modern AI creative platforms to help accelerate and enhance production workflows.
• A strategic mindset with a solid understanding of brand positioning and audience targeting.
• Professional fluency in English.
