What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer to join our Computer Vision Platform team on a full-time basis. You will be instrumental in building and operating the real-time inference infrastructure that powers experiences for millions of users. This role is remote and open to candidates anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with researchers to review their code and engineer it for high performance and reliability at scale.
• Profiling and optimizing performance-sensitive code for both real-time inference and training workflows.
• Identifying recurring patterns in research efforts to propose and build standardized, composable abstractions for our platform.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in software engineering, specifically with at least 6 years of total experience and 4 years focused on machine learning systems. You should be highly proficient in Python and PyTorch, with practical experience using Docker and deploying solutions on AWS. We value candidates who have deep expertise in building data-intensive distributed systems, including optimizing GPU utilization and parallel processing. You should be comfortable collaborating directly with research teams to transition prototypes into production-ready, maintainable systems. Strong communication skills in English are required, as you will frequently translate research pain points into architectural proposals and design documents.

What we offer
