The role

We are seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a critical role in safeguarding our infrastructure and users. Please note that while this role is fully remote, we are only accepting candidates based in US and EU time zones at this time.

Core responsibilities

• Proactively identify and mitigate security risks across our systems and codebases through manual reviews, threat modeling, and automated tooling.
• Manage our application security processes, including the configuration of security tools and the validation of incoming bug bounty submissions.
• Partner closely with our development teams to implement secure coding standards and participate in incident response efforts to protect our platform from real-world threats.

Skills and experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with offensive security techniques, specifically within the blockchain space.
• Deep expertise in identifying security vulnerabilities in mobile and web applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with the ability to perform detailed code reviews and develop proof-of-concept exploits.
• Excellent analytical abilities and clear communication skills to document findings for both technical and management teams.

Compensation and benefits

The target base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $210,000, supplemented by equity. Our benefits package includes:
