If you are looking for a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of your work and contribute to a mission that truly matters, you will find a home here.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that operates in a hybrid capacity. You will serve as a vital partner to our engineering teams, helping to ensure that our products remain secure, reliable, and worthy of the trust our customers place in us. You will be based out of our Ho Chi Minh office, where we emphasize in-person collaboration to fuel innovation and mentorship.
Core responsibilities
- Integrate security into development: You will build and maintain automation tools that embed security checks directly into our CI/CD pipelines, while partnering with engineers to design secure-by-default architectures.
- Enable developer success: Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide actionable guidance to development teams and deliver training on secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities at the source.
- Proactively identify and manage risk: You will operationalize scanning tools like SAST, DAST, and SCA to lead vulnerability management efforts and advocate for a mindset that prioritizes long-term product integrity.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in software development and a passion for security automation. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C#.
- Deep experience with modern development workflows, including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing security tools for SAST, DAST, and SCA.
- A solid understanding of cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- The ability to communicate complex technical security concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- A track record of partnering effectively with developers to maintain security without compromising innovation speed.
Compensation and benefits
We are committed to supporting our team members both professionally and personally. In addition to a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment, we offer the following benefits:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- A robust paid time off policy.
- Access to a free gym membership and on-site parking.
- A dedicated learning budget, including free LinkedIn and Udemy accounts.
- Company retreats and monthly team social activities.
- Daily perks including lunch allowances, a cell phone stipend, and stocked office pantries.
- Access to 24/7 online emotional and mental health support.
How to apply
We encourage you to apply even if your experience does not align perfectly with every qualification listed above. We value the unique perspectives that come from diverse backgrounds and are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve. Please submit your application to join us in our mission to protect life and make the world a safer place.
