Our team of shopping experts hand-tests nearly a thousand deals every week, ensuring that our website, app, and newsletters are always packed with fresh content. We are currently looking for a Senior App Manager to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and evolving our mobile application while leading a dedicated team of developers to deliver a seamless experience for our users.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, overseeing code reviews and fostering a culture of high-quality software engineering.
- Design, develop, and maintain our mobile application using React and Expo, while collaborating with designers to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Manage the product backlog and address technical debt to ensure the application remains performant, maintainable, and aligned with our feature roadmap.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on React and Expo.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and overseeing complex software projects.
- A solid grasp of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and best practices.
- Technical proficiency with RESTful APIs, version control systems like Git, and modern deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
