Senior Android Engineer at Gamechanger

We are a remote-first, dynamic team based in New York City, and we are currently looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join us in solving some of the most exciting challenges in the industry.

What you bring

In this full-time role, you will be a key member of our Gameday Capture team, which is responsible for the video experiences that keep our users connected to the action. You will work remotely from anywhere in the country while collaborating with a diverse group of product managers, designers, and engineers to build high-quality features. Your daily contributions will involve:

• Leading the development of features for community engagement, scorekeeping, and fan experiences, with a primary focus on our native Android application.
• Collaborating with your peers to make critical architectural decisions that shape the future of our platform.
• Partnering with designers and testers to deliver seamless, delightful solutions for our customers.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a solid foundation in software engineering and a proven track record of shipping beautiful, high-quality mobile applications. You should be passionate about working with the latest Android technologies, including Kotlin, RxJava, and Jetpack, and feel comfortable navigating a cross-functional product environment. We value individuals who are eager to mentor others, participate in regular design and code reviews, and stay curious about emerging technologies. While not required, experience with Swift for iOS development or backend technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL is a significant plus. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
