Responsibilities
- Develop engaging experiences for our Android user base.
- Design and implement a scalable application while integrating it into our evolving product ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to brainstorm and evaluate new features.
- Pair with fellow developers to build solutions and share technical expertise.
- Establish and maintain high development standards to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Champion automated testing practices and participate in incident management and on-call rotations.
- Research and test emerging technologies to improve our efficiency and user experience.
Must-haves
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Proven success managing the full mobile development lifecycle, from initial concept to the Google Play Store.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and asynchronous programming techniques like RxJava or Coroutines.
- Strong expertise in Android Architecture Components, including ViewModel, Lifecycle-aware components, and navigation graphs to build robust MVVM architectures.
- Hands-on experience integrating APIs and services for large-scale mobile applications.
- A keen eye for mobile design and user experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote environment as a permanent US resident.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with or a strong interest in learning Jetpack Compose UI.
- Solid understanding of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt, Dagger, or Koin.
