What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work remotely from anywhere in Australia to help us push the boundaries of fintech technology. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards for engineering excellence while utilizing tools like Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and launching new features for our Android application.
• Continuously enhancing the engineering quality and performance of our codebase.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship within our Mobile Development Chapter.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have significant experience building large-scale Android applications using Kotlin. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection patterns. You should also have a strong grasp of networking, unit and UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile environments. Because we operate in the fintech sector, a deep understanding of secure coding practices is essential. We value candidates who are proactive, capable of driving technical decisions, and eager to collaborate across teams in an English-speaking environment.
