Role at a glance

We are hiring a Senior Android Developer on a contractor basis. This fully remote position is open to experienced engineers anywhere in the world and requires senior-level expertise in Android development.

Your impact

Own the complete lifecycle of complex, scalable Android applications, guiding them from initial concept through deployment and iteration.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements, make strategic technical decisions, and deliver polished user experiences.
Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs, optimize performance for memory and battery efficiency, and mentor teammates while upholding clean-code standards.

What you'll need

Five or more years building and maintaining production Android applications, paired with expert command of Java and Kotlin. You bring deep experience with Android Studio, the Android SDK, Gradle, and modern architecture components, along with fluency in MVC, MVP, and MVVM patterns. A strong grasp of Material Design principles, RESTful APIs, libraries such as Retrofit and OkHttp, and tools like SQLite or Realm is essential. You are comfortable with Git and Agile workflows, communicate clearly across disciplines, and stay current with emerging Android trends.
