What you'll be doing

You will create and maintain clean, well-documented, and expertly modeled data sets that empower our business users and data scientists to make informed decisions using platforms like Snowflake and Looker.
You will collaborate closely with our product engineering teams to ensure that the modeling of source data aligns perfectly with downstream requirements.
You will take responsibility for the optimization and adoption of Looker, ensuring our 1,500 active users have a seamless and intuitive experience when interacting with data.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in data and analytics. We are looking for the following qualifications:

At least 6 years of professional experience within analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI engineering.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and a deep understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles.
Practical experience with cloud-based MPP data warehouses, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
A strong grasp of version control and experience with SQL ETL/ELT processes.
Bonus points if you have experience with Looker, Python for automation, or working with the Looker API.
Fluency in English to communicate effectively across our teams.
