What you'll be doing
- You will create and maintain clean, well-documented, and expertly modeled data sets that empower our business users and data scientists to make informed decisions using platforms like Snowflake and Looker.
- You will collaborate closely with our product engineering teams to ensure that the modeling of source data aligns perfectly with downstream requirements.
- You will take responsibility for the optimization and adoption of Looker, ensuring our 1,500 active users have a seamless and intuitive experience when interacting with data.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in data and analytics. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 6 years of professional experience within analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and a deep understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles.
- Practical experience with cloud-based MPP data warehouses, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- A strong grasp of version control and experience with SQL ETL/ELT processes.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Looker, Python for automation, or working with the Looker API.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively across our teams.
