We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer who is ready to take ownership of our technical processes and collaborate with our actuarial experts to drive meaningful impact.
What you'll be doing
- You will own and maintain our custom Python codebase for actuarial tools, ensuring our data models and pipelines remain robust and efficient.
- You will act as the primary technical partner for our Actuarial and Analytics team, helping them design, deploy, and manage high-quality code for predictive modeling and data analysis.
- You will bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics by structuring golden datasets and guiding the team on best practices for software development and production integration.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in Python or data engineering. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python for object-oriented programming and advanced expertise in SQL.
- Proven experience in building and managing data pipelines and performing complex data modeling.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor others and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, translate business needs into technical designs, and make sound trade-offs between short-term fixes and long-term solutions.
- A high level of fluency in English, both written and spoken.
What you'll get
