Are you ready to use your engineering expertise to help people live healthier lives? At Wellth, we are a fast-growing digital health company based in Los Angeles, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join our mission. We leverage behavioral economics and habit science to support underserved populations, including those in Medicare and Medicaid, helping them manage chronic conditions and improve their overall quality of life. Our platform sees daily engagement levels that rival major social media apps, and our work has already proven to reduce hospitalizations by over 40 percent for our partners.
What you bring
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play a vital role in our remote-first team by architecting systems that drive daily healthy habit experiences. This is a full-time position available to candidates located anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Designing and implementing scalable analytics to demonstrate clear customer outcomes.
- Developing and evolving predictive models for health improvement, disease progression, and behavioral changes.
- Creating compelling data visualizations that communicate the impact of our solutions to health plans and provider customers.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with at least seven years of professional experience, including four years specifically within the healthcare sector. You should possess deep expertise in handling sensitive patient and claims data, along with a strong understanding of healthcare standards like HEDIS and Star Ratings. Technically, you must be highly proficient in SQL, Python, and dbt, with a solid grasp of Git, Airflow, and Fivetran. Beyond your technical toolkit, we value soft skills such as the ability to work with autonomy, communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders, and mentor other team members. A background in Agile environments and a commitment to metric governance are essential for success in this role. You must be fluent in English and ready to take ownership of large-scale system concerns from start to finish.
What we offer
We provide a base compensation range of $160,000 to $175,000 USD. We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally through the following benefits:
- Flexible working hours and a remote-first culture.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Generous paid time off.
- The opportunity to make a tangible, life-saving impact on patients who need it most.
How to Apply
If you are excited about building the future of healthcare and want to join a mission-driven team that values curiosity and collaboration, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to start the conversation about how your skills can help us improve health outcomes for hard-to-engage populations.
