We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst - Platform Developer to join our team in Brighton, Massachusetts, and help us maintain the integrity and performance of our actuarial data systems.
What you'll be doing
- You will serve as the primary administrator for our Actuarial Modeling Platform, overseeing its daily operations, performing necessary upgrades, and ensuring the system runs at peak performance.
- You will act as a key partner to our Actuary and IT data teams by managing the full data lifecycle, defining technical requirements, and facilitating the development of our modeling processes.
- You will provide comprehensive support to our users, which includes troubleshooting incidents, managing application run books, and conducting training sessions to ensure everyone is comfortable with platform functionality.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related analytical field. We are looking for someone with at least four years of development experience, including the following specific expertise:
- Two years of experience working with Life and Annuity products alongside actuarial teams and technology vendors.
- Proven ability to manage data integration patterns, including both file-based and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience working within cloud environments and utilizing GITLAB for version control.
- Proficiency in SAS programming, Azure Data Factory, and PowerBI.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly when working within IT data teams.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively across our global organization.
What you'll get
The expected annual base salary for this full-time, on-site position is $148,000 to $159,000. Please note that our team members in Brighton work from the office four days per week.
