The role
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our engineering team in Berlin. This is a full-time, hybrid position for an experienced professional who wants to be a pioneer in our newly launched AI division. You will work within a small, agile team to develop cutting-edge AI systems and robust data pipelines, moving projects from rapid prototypes to scalable production solutions. Core responsibilities
- Design and implement modern data pipelines and orchestrate data assets for our AI solutions, ensuring they are ready for production environments.
- Build and deploy agentic systems by leveraging advancements like RAG, ReAct, and Knowledge Graphs to create effective, real-world solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools and frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product planning and impactful projects.
Skills and experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in AI, machine learning, and data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks like pandas.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, ideally within the AWS ecosystem.
- Practical knowledge of modern data workflow orchestration frameworks such as Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect.
- Strong foundation in both applied and theoretical machine learning.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively within our international team.
