Senior Account Manager / Business Developer at MAT Research

At MAT Research, we are dedicated to transforming the landscape of pyrogen testing by providing ethical and precise diagnostic solutions. Since 2016, we have pioneered the Monocyte Activation Test, which serves as a vital animal-free alternative to traditional rabbit-based testing methods. Our ISO:9001:2015 certified kits are essential for detecting pyrogens in parenteral drugs, and we are fully committed to the European Pharmacopoeia's goal of replacing animal testing by 2026. We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager / Business Developer to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time, on-site basis to help drive our continued growth and maintain our high standards of client service.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence and accelerate company growth.
• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders by acting as their primary point of contact and understanding their unique technical requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, including contract negotiation and the identification of upsell opportunities, to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally within the fields of Life Science, Biotechnology, or business.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in sales, specifically within the Pharma or Biotech sectors.
• Strong familiarity with QC products, immunology, and drug discovery processes.
• A proven track record of success in business development and project management.
• Fluency in English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
