We are part of Sony Interactive Entertainment, and we are currently looking for a Security Risk Analyst to join our Tokyo-based information security team. In this role, you will work alongside a diverse group of 20 professionals to manage security risks and drive improvements across our global infrastructure. You will collaborate with teams in the United States, Europe, and across Asia to protect the systems that power our world-class gaming experiences.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats across a wide range of platforms and systems.
• Evaluate the security posture of our contracted vendors to ensure they meet our high standards for data protection.
• Provide expert guidance on information security policies and determine appropriate risk responses when standard guidelines cannot be fully met.

What you'll bring

We value your ability to balance security needs with business objectives. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

• Professional Experience: At least two years of experience in information security, such as developing security guidelines or performing IT risk analysis, OR at least one year of experience in general project or business risk management with a strong interest in security.
• Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in Japanese for daily collaboration with local teams, and strong English communication skills for working with our global offices.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud services, project management, and security compliance frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR is highly valued.
• Certifications: While not required, holding professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM will be considered a significant asset.
• Mindset: You are a collaborative team player who enjoys finding creative solutions that respect the needs of various stakeholders while maintaining a secure environment.
