The role
We are seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. This is a mid-level position designed for a professional who wants to influence global retail security standards while working alongside a world-class team. You will play a vital role in protecting our systems and data by ensuring our security infrastructure remains robust and effective.
Core responsibilities
- Engineer and deploy security solutions, including cloud email security, cloud access security brokers, and endpoint detection and response tools.
- Support our ongoing Cyber Transformation Programme by managing security infrastructure projects and ensuring sensitive data is properly encrypted.
- Partner with security analysts to monitor our environment, investigate potential incidents, and provide security guidance to internal project teams.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in security engineering.
- Technical proficiency with ICES, CASB, and CSPM technologies.
- Strong capability in scripting to support automation and advanced security tasks.
- A solid understanding of industry-standard frameworks, specifically the NIST framework and SANS Top 20 Controls.
- Professional fluency in English.
