As a Security Operations Engineer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, you will play a vital role in our Information Security team. You will be responsible for safeguarding our infrastructure against cyber threats, managing incident responses, and enhancing our overall security posture. Key outcomes

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security incidents in real-time to ensure the integrity of our systems.
• Optimize and manage security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and cloud-native security platforms.
• Lead incident response efforts, from initial containment to post-mortem analysis and root cause reporting.
• Partner with engineering and IT departments to design security controls that effectively reduce attack surfaces.
• Develop and refine playbooks and standard operating procedures to streamline our detection and response workflows.
• Drive automation efforts to reduce manual operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Conduct threat-hunting activities to identify security gaps and implement new detection logic.
• Manage vulnerability remediation across our platforms and assist with compliance initiatives like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working in incident response or security operations.
• Practical experience with SIEM solutions, EDR, and network security monitoring systems.
• Cloud security expertise, specifically with tools like CSPM/CIEM and cloud-native threat detection.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and modern software architectures including containers and microservices.
• Proficiency in detection engineering using tools such as YARA and Rego.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and manage high-pressure incidents.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation
