We are looking for a Senior Security Operations Center Manager to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will lead our security operations team as we embrace automation and AI to secure our mission-critical services. You will be responsible for setting the long-term vision for our SOC, ensuring our monitoring and detection capabilities remain at the highest standard while fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers, promoting an environment of innovation and professional development.
- Oversee the lifecycle of our security tools and technologies, ensuring they are scalable, well-maintained, and optimized for peak performance.
- Design and implement sophisticated detection rules, automation workflows, and incident response strategies to proactively defend our infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in security operations or incident response, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- A strong engineering background with a proven ability to build technical solutions for complex security challenges.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation purposes.
- Extensive knowledge of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Prior experience working within AWS or Azure environments, ideally for a SaaS company.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively lead a team toward strategic goals.
