What is this role?

We are looking for a Security Instructional Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a junior-level position located on-site in the United States. You will work a consistent schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, following the school calendar. This means you will enjoy a schedule with no nights and no weekends.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with classroom instructors to provide targeted teaching support and maintain a safe, orderly learning environment.
• Actively manage classroom behaviors by engaging with students, de-escalating tense situations, and providing necessary interventions.
• Monitor the school setting to identify and report potential safety concerns while implementing our behavioral program policies and tracking data.

We are looking for someone who can think quickly and act tactfully, even when working under pressure. Because our students have unique needs, your ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing routines is essential. We encourage military veterans to apply, as well as individuals with backgrounds in behavioral science, mental health, or juvenile justice. A background in kinesiology, physical education, or coaching is also highly valued. Please note that you must be at least 23 years of age to apply. Additionally, having a good driving record and a willingness to drive a student van is strongly preferred.
