At SentiLink, we are on a mission to transform identity verification by replacing outdated, expensive, and ineffective processes with innovative risk solutions. Our real-time APIs have already verified hundreds of millions of identities, and our work has been recognized by major outlets like Forbes, Bloomberg, and TechCrunch. We are proud to have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50 for two consecutive years, and we even made history as the first company to go live with the eCBSV. As we continue to scale rapidly following our $70M Series B round, we are looking for passionate people to help us build a future where institutions and individuals can transact with complete confidence.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Security Engineering Lead to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level position for an experienced professional who can balance hands-on technical engineering with the strategic leadership of our information security program. You will be responsible for driving our compliance initiatives, managing security controls, and guiding our security posture as we grow. You will also oversee a team of GRC analysts to ensure our internal and external audit requirements are met with precision.
What will you do?
- Design and implement robust technical security controls across our cloud environments and software systems.
- Lead our efforts to maintain and achieve SOC2, PCI, and FedRAMP compliance by managing audits and gathering necessary evidence.
- Direct critical security initiatives, including penetration testing, incident response drills, firewall reviews, and comprehensive risk assessments.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in information security, ideally within a SaaS environment. We are looking for someone who possesses a deep technical background in AWS infrastructure, with Kubernetes experience being a significant advantage. You should be comfortable navigating complex compliance frameworks and have a proven track record of leading security initiatives. Because you will be communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, your ability to explain complex security concepts clearly in English is essential. We value problem solvers who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and who are legally authorized to work and reside within the United States.
What's in it for you?
We offer a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $210,000. In addition to your compensation, you will receive the following benefits:
- Remote work flexibility.
- 401k plan with employer match.
